Jane! ..of the jungle! ..and Tarzan!

A *short* list of loves:

tea, the Red Sox, giraffes, landscapes lined with mosques, the violin, autobiographies, languages, yoga, maps, bookstores and libraries, the color purple, Istanbul, cooking (and eating), fried seafood, snow and collecting and sending postcards!

My biggest smile - fake, crooked teeth, imperfect like I like it!      ------->

Jane. An "old-fashioned name." 1/4 Italian, 1/4 Polish, 1/8 French, and 1/8 Palestinian.

My Journey started in 2011 when I was a Rotary Youth Exchange student to Istanbul, Turkey. I lived with two host families and went to a private high school for 10 1/2 months. My love of languages and travel grew out of the experience. I decided to pursue Middle Eastern studies and Arabic at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

My next journey was a 9-month study abroad to Amman, Jordan! Then, I spent the summer of 2017 on a CLS Scholarship to Meknes, Morocco and the following summer with CLS studying Turkish in Baku, Azerbaijan. What am I going to do with my life?! I am currently teaching English in Rabat, Morocco with the Fulbright Program!
